  1. Put a tsp of oil in a vessel.
  2. Fry the onion till transparent.
  3. Add carrots, beans, capsicum, celery, spring onion and mushrooms, if desired.
  4. Cook for a few minutes until they begin to turn brown.
  5. Transfer to another vessel.
  6. Now, fry the chicken and prawns.
  7. Pour a little oil in the vessel.
  8. Add chopped garlic.
  9. When it turns brown, remove it and keep aside.
  10. Once the oil is flavoured with garlic, put the rice in the same vessel of oil.
  11. Fry it for 5 minutes.
  12. Add all the vegetables, chicken and prawns.
  13. Cook the rice in the chicken stock.
  14. When the rice is cooked, add all the sauces.
  15. Increase heat and fry for 5 minutes.
  16. Stir and serve hot.

This dish was great. The browned garlic oil makes all the difference in the taste. I made a vegetarian version of this with brown rice. IMO the chili sauce can be increased...
