Yum!!! I love hot pot. The spicier the better. The broth is so flavorful. I can't wait to make this recipe.

A friend of ours is a hunter, and he always wanted to make a real chinese hotpot. Now I went shopping with him to get all these ingredients and then made him stir together this hotpot, along with your sauce suggestions. For dipping we only used different pieces of game, such as pheasant, wild duck and roe deer, and different kinds of vegetables such as mushrooms, broccoli florets, carrots, celeriac. I didn't try this spicy version but only the "plain" one, but this spicy hotpot got rave reviews. It matches perfectly with the game, and the broth must have been really heavenly. Clear five stars - there's a very happy hunter now :)
