Soy Vinaigrette

"I was introduced to this recipe when I was a little girl. Our neighbor used to make it and we would drink it by the capful! (I also ate whole lemons and limes) If you enjoy pungent flavors, drizzle this over a green salad and it should hit the spot. Amounts are approximate, so adjust to your palate."

  1. You can replace the garlic with some grated ginger and give it an asian flare with just as much zing...

  2. Gotta love this one! I too ate whole lemons and limes. When I was in elementary school I'd save my milk money for the day and stop and the corner shop which had a tiny produce area for a lemon or lime! Yup, I was an oddball and still am but this is yummy and gets me to bother to make a salad! Thanks Picholine!

  3. This doesn't have to sit long for the flavors to blend well. I used more garlic (4 cloves) which upped the stars. I don't know if I could drink it by the capful but it is really flavorful and I also always have the ingredients on hand. That is a plus for any recipe. ;)

  4. Loved this for all of the reasons you did. Super easy and I always have the ingrediens available. Great recipe!
