I use chicken thighs because that is what my family likes but you can use whatever chicken pieces you want. I always cook large amounts for leftovers or for OAMC but you can cut the recipe in half for a smaller serving amount. Enjoy!

  1. Combine all ingredients together except chicken thighs making sure sugar is dissolved.
  2. Pour marinade over chicken and let marinade for at least 5 hours or overnight is better.
  3. Bake in a 325 degree oven for about 20 minutes and then baste with drippings and then do this 2 more times until done, about 1 hour depending on your oven.
  4. Let rest about 10 minutes before serving.

great meal; the chicken thighs were so tender (and i was only able to marinate the chicken for about 4.5 hours!)

This recipe is easy . I used both chicken wings and thighs. the wings were very juicy and tasty.The thighs got more carmelized like a gormet chicken. I let marinade for 5 hrs but I do think overnighht would absorb more of the marinade. It was delightful . The whole family enjoyed!
