This was very good, but the tortillas threw the taste of the recipe off. I loved the ease of making it with packaged cole slaw and broccoli slaw mix. This made the recipe a perfect weeknight meal. And it does make alot! Made for All New Zaar Cookbook Tag.

Just as good (if not better) than any Mu Shu I've every eaten at a restaurant. Easy to make and very tasty. Like others mentioned I also added abit of hoisin right into the wok during cooking. Added abit of ginger with the garlic also. Enjoyed this recipe, thanks for sharing Chris.

Wonderful recipe! So easy and so yummy (and different). It's just the kind I like to collect. Thank you for posting it! I think I'd prefer to use wonton wrappers or at least homemade tortillas instead of store-bought. Also, my favorite Szechuan restaurant's Mu Shu Chicken is sweeter, so I poured and stirred some of the plum sauce directly into it. It was perfect.

Yum! I used leftover cooked chicken and just coleslaw mix (couldn't find the broc slaw), and added a couple teaspoons hoisin sauce right to the mix, just to make it easier. Wonderful recipe Chris! Thanks!

This is a yummy recipe. This is a quick easy recipe since most things are from a bag and already prepped. I made Moo Shoo Pancakes, Moo Shu Pancakes to go with these instead of the tortillas. My husband said this one needs to be put in the "keeper file" and my teenage daughter really enjoyed them too. Thanks Chris!

Nice, quick dish. I just wasn't in the mood for a lot of dinner prep this evening so this recipe caught my eye---the slaw mixes make this very easy to put together. I used pork tenderloin rather than chicken and both my slaw mixes included carrots so I didn't add the optional ones. I did use the hoisin in the tortillas, but we also used homemade plum ginger sauce as a dip. We really enjoyed this dish, but next time I will probably add some fresh ginger and possibly more garlic as I feel it would benefit from the additional flavor. Thank you for sharing this fast, tasty recipe!

I've never ordered Mu Shu Chicken, so i can't compare, but this was delicious. I did not add shredded carrot, because both my slaw mixes already had some in them. I did cook this in different order, i sauteed the chicken first removed, then shrooms, 1/2 of the green onion then slaw mixes and returning chicken before adding sauce. I topped it with the remaining raw chopped green onion, just b4 serving. Served with white rice, flour tortillas, plum sauce and hoisin. I loved the roll ups with hoisin.

Wow! I love Mu Shu Chicken and have never attempted to make my own. Now I won't order it anymore! This is SO good! I didn't have lo-sodium soy sauce but should have bought some... its worth it because with regular its too salty. If you follow the recipe its just plain great! (I cooked the slaw mix, broccoli mix and onion all at the same time and let them get a bit 'mushy' since that's how I'm used to my Mu-Shu fillings. REALLY good! Thanks so much!
