  1. I goofed with this recipe I used skinless boneless breasts and although they were very tasty they were a bit dry. I only had them in the oven for 35 minutes. . I think this recipe will be excellent when prepared in the proper manner=using a cut up whole chicken, skin on.. I wanted to post this review so others won't try what I did. For flavor the recipe is right on! Thanks Ocean-Ivy I will make it again using the cut up chicken then I will award strars and write a new review Added comments This is excellent when you cook it with the skin on - not dry at all- love the flavor thanks again Ocean~Ivy

  2. I have made this dish 2 times, the 2nd time did not change my opinion. This is a bland chicken. Granted, the skin is tasty due to all the seasonings that is rubbed and brushed on it. However, the meat itself is tasteless. It's because it didn't even get proper marinating time.

  3. Wow! This is good stuff!! This chicken has a wonderful sweet, ginger flavor. It has a bite too from the ginger. Used canola instead of peanut oil. I served this with some sugar snap peas and stir fry vegetables and there was plenty of sauce to flavor those too. This chicken was hot, tender, and good!! Thanks for the recipe!!

  4. I made this with a whole chicken(wasnt feeling good and didnt feel like cutting it up) the taste was amazing even my picky 4 year old who thought that tator tot sandwiches were the best thing in the world ate 2 servings. I will be making this again and again. It was easy to make and again the flavor was just perfect.
