  • Heat chicken broth, salt, and white pepper to boiling in a 2-quart saucepan.
  • Stir green onions into eggs.
  • Pour egg mixture slowly into broth, stirring constantly with fork until egg forms shreds.
  • Makes about 3 cups deb

  2. Very easy and quick to make. The only thing I changed was to add the green onion after the eggs formed. I give it five stars. :o)
     
  3. Tasted good. I suspect some egg drop soup recipes add a thickener to the broth. This recipe is very thin. Since I was looking for a low-carb recipe, it is probably better that it does not include a thickener.
