Another winner from my favorite Zaary. REally good. Made a huge batch and put in large crock pot on low for about 4 hours, then switched to warm for another hour. SErved with Kitten's fried rice. Amazing! Will make often. Thanks for another great one.

This is a wonderfully Asian inspired crock pot dish! I made as directed, although I guessed at a high or low setting on the crockpot; I ended up starting out at high, then turning it down to low after about 3 hours. This would be nicer garnished with toasted sesame seeds! Thanks, Kittencal! Made for Potluck Tag.

The chicken itself was great. It was very tender. The sauce started to burn before the chicken was done. My crockpot tends to cook things very fast, so I cooked it for 2-3 hours on low. The sauce seemed a little bitter. We ate it, but we weren't crazy about the bitterness. I also added a little pineapple juice to cut out the bitterness and it helped.

My family and I loved this dish! At my daughter's suggestion, I added chow mein noodles on top of it and it really made the dish taste wonderful! Next time, I will also add mushrooms to it - it seems to need a few more ingredients. I may even add some green beans to it. It is a great tasting dish and is so easy to make. I bought 2 1/2 pounds of chicken breasts and cut each breast in half, which turned out great. Thanks for sharing, Kittencal!

I wasnt crazy about the flavor of this dish, it may be that I just dont like the taste of Hoisin Sauce. I served with brown rice.

Simple and easy to throw together. I used 6 chicken leg quarters and there was plenty of sauce. Thanks for posting.

I have made this quite a few times in the 6 months. It's very tasty! One of the few crockpot recipes I really like and would serve to company. I skin my chicken and use legs and thighs.I use a quarter size piece of ginger about 1/2 inch thick. Occasionally, when I double the recipes I only double the chicken- this recipe makes plenty of sauce. Hoisin Chiken will always be a regular at my house.
